"Nothing is more beautiful than the love,
That has weathered the storms of life.
The love of the young for the young,
That is the beginning of life.
But the love of the old for the old,
That is the beginning of things longer."

That is so lovely. I always associated Jerome K Jerome with humour (Three Men in a Boat/On the Bummel) until I read a really horrifying short story by him about an old man who invents a robotic waltzing partner - which goes berserk at a ball and dances a girl to death. Terrifying; just thinking about it makes my hair stand on end, literally.
And now this. What a very versatile writer.

Indeed Madhu...to be able to do humour and the dramatic...a no mean feat.
