MUTTERINGS #66: TERE BINA.....
Tere Bina Zindagi Se Koyi, Shikwa, To Nahi,
Shikwa Nahi, Shikwa Nahi, Shikwa Nahi
Tere Bina Zindagi Bhi Lekin, Zindagi, To Nahi,
Zindagi Nahi, Zindagi Nahi, Zindagi Nahi
Tere Bina Zindagi Se Koyi, Shikwa, To Nahi
Kaash Aisa Ho Tere Qadmo Se,
Chun Ke Manzil Chale Aur Kahi
Door Kahi - 2
Tum Gar Saath Ho, Manzilo Ki Kami To Nahi
Tere Bina Zindagi Se Koyi, Shikwa, To Nahi
Jee Mein Aata Hai, Tere Daaman Mein,
Sar Jhuka Ke Ham Rote Rahe,
Rote Rahe - 2
Teri Bhi Aankho Mein, Aansuo Ki Nami To Nahi
Tere Bina Zindagi Se Koyi, Shikwa, To Nahi,
Shikwa Nahi, Shikwa Nahi, Shikwa Nahi
Tere Bina Zindagi Bhi Lekin, Zindagi, To Nahi,
Zindagi Nahi, Zindagi Nahi, Zindagi Nahi
Tum Jo Keh Do To Aaj Ki Raat,
Chaand Doobega Nahi,
Raat Ko Rok Lo -2
Raat Ki Baat Hai, Aur Zindagi Baaki To Nahi
Tere Bina Zindagi Se Koyi, Shikwa, To Nahi,
Shikwa Nahi, Shikwa Nahi, Shikwa Nahi
Tere Bina Zindagi Bhi Lekin, Zindagi, To Nahi,
Zindagi Nahi, Zindagi Nahi, Zindagi Nahi

Perhaps a week back, I would just have commented on what lovely music this song has - or how well it's been sung. But since I began working on my Sahir Ludhianvi post, I've started paying a whole lot more attention to lyrics as well. So yes, what beautifully poignant lyrics too. Soul-stirring. Thank you for that!
Welcome back Veen..and what a great song to come back with :)
Weclome back Veen.. and what a song to come back with .. Simply great song ..:)
Hi Madhu
So true. We always give credit to the singer/s and/or music director. It is actually the lyricist that makes the song. If the words does not touch one heart, no matter how great the music, it is meaningless. The song "Imagine" by John Lennon comes to mind. Imagine (no pun intended) what that song would be like without those poignant lyrics from Lennon???
Thank you Seshadri. It's good to be back. I should be posting some new vinyl albums this weekend.
Exactly, Veen. Imagine IS its lyrics. The music, the way its sung - all incidental. If it weren't for the lyrics, that song would be not half what it is.
Welcome Back!
Shukriya Nasir saab.
