Lovers of jazz, the Duke and the Count - Here’s a chance to consider which musician reign supreme. My verdict? Too close to call...but I give the album 4 stars.

  1. I love both Duke and Count. But Basie always wins in the end. Ellington has a fine style, cerebral and smooth. Basie, though, makes his music jump. Not to say Basie lacks sophistication. He blends the two very well.
